Presenter Internet Marketing
If you are doing an Internet Marketing or Social Media related topic at your next event, let me offer you some advice (as someone who has done 100+ such presentations)
Really know your audience.
Here is why.
At times, I have been asked to do detailed social media workshops that cover broad Internet Marketing Strategies. I really enjoy doing those, but sometimes the audience is just wanting an overview and they are getting more than they want (or can act upon).
My recommendation to event planners is to either limit novice programs to 90 minutes or to ask your presenter Internet Marketing expert to break the program into several shorter programs and people can come and go between them.
People that are already trying to do Internet Marketing will often sit through 2 days of good Internet Marketing information. People that just want an overview of how to apply it to their business really just want a pep rally and some good tips and secrets.
Know what your audience is going to enjoy and make sure you give it to them.
