Lately I have changed my small business blog speech to a presentation on how to use blogs to build your own lead generation engine.

If you are looking for sales and marketing speakers you really might want to give me a call. This blog speech is totally different and gives people a real, step by step process to generate more leads for them for a very small cost.

I have some client making a lot more money after they built a blog lead generation engine and stuck to it for a few months. The system is simple, but does take consistent effort. However, if you see the value in increasing leads, it is a no brainer and can be completely outsourced if you do not have time to do it yourself.

The two biggest roadblocks to building a lead generation engine are:

Not enough profit in your product – if you have very low margins, the effort may not pay for itself.

Saturated marketplace – if you are too broad in an already competitive environment, you will take too long to see any results, usually resulting in people giving up before it ever becomes successful.

However, if you know how to focus and have a good product, building a lead generation engine is one of the best investments you can make. Call me to discuss having this lead generation blog speech presented at your next event.

In my blog speech, the first thing I want people to do is forget everything that they know about blogs. Business blogs are about getting real business results, and a blog that does not have a clear business goal is not usually going to produce anything.

So what will you learn in my Business Blog Speech?

Blogs, modified and optimized for search engines, can be made to produce fantastic online leads. In fact, with some changes a blog can become a powerful lead generation engine. With my blog speech, you will learn how to build a lead generation funnel that will combine Inbound Marketing, Social Media and more to keep your pipeline full of hot, targeted leads that want to buy your product.

It may not be as sexy as the whole relationship angle of social media marketing, but it is measurable, proven effective and has a great ROI that business owners love, so I will take it.

If that kind of blog speech would benefit the people coming to your next event, contact me and lets talk about getting the presentation into your plans.

In the blog speech I do regularly, I spend less time talking about the blog and more time talking about how to be successful with online tools for generating leads for small businesses.

Why?

Blogging is the buzz word, but it is only software that does what you tell it. A blog speech on setting up a blog and all the bells and whistles of a blog would not help your audience at all. Instead, you want to present people with a formula for success. Steps they can follow for building an online engine that helps them accomplish their goals.

For many small businesses, lead generation is a pretty big goal. And that is why my blog speech is really a lead generation speech – just using a blog as the lure.

Sure the speech that is primarily about blogs needs to talk about blogs as well, and you need to talk about things like automation, building a personal brand, calls to action and more. But if you do not start with the goal (business outcome you want) then the blog is really not going to produce much of a benefit.

If you are interested in having a blog speaker that focuses on business outcomes at your next event, give me a call.
